Our Story & Mission

So just who is the team behind Brewcules? I’m glad you asked! Hi, I’m Garrett. I drink my coffee black and the perfect ending to a dinner for me is a rich espresso.

I spent several years as a barista, working through college with a popular green apron as part of my daily outfit. During those years I learned something interesting about coffee drinkers. One group did not care much about their drink, as long as there were two pumps of caramel and two pumps of sugar in it they were happy. This site isn’t necessarily dedicated to that group (though you are of course welcome on the road to Coffee Olympus!)

No, this space is dedicated to the second group. The group that knew just how they wanted their milk steamed, knew exactly when they were served a dead shot of espresso (I know that is a touchy subject!), and knew just how fine they wanted their beans ground. It was this love, passion, depth, and desire for quality in just a simple cup of coffee that had me hooked.

It is with those qualities in mind that Brewcules is created, to sift through the noise and present you, the reader, the best possible information. So whether you are just starting your journey to the coffee of the gods, or already know how to craft a divine up and are looking for good company, we welcome you here! Our hope is that you will find what you need to brew that perfect cup to help aid you in your own 12 labors.

~Garrett

Our Responsibility

At Brewcules.com, we understand that your morning or evening cup of coffee is a sacred thing. Therefore, we treat it with the respect it deserves. Our guiding principles are:

  • Source from tested & trusted experience. Our guides are researched and backed by either direct conversations with seasoned baristas, trusted coffee literature, or Athena herself.
  • Keep ease and accessibility in mind. We know you are busy, so we want you to leave here with easy-to-follow information that will help inform better brewing right away.
  • Update often. The world is a fast-changing place. If the next Kopi luwak is discovered with mythical properties, we want you to know about it first.

We utilize affiliate marketing to fund our operations, but commissions never influence our recommendations. We also maintain a strict policy against accepting sponsorships to avoid any conflicts of interest.
